I am finally able to get back into the swing of things.
I went out today and got some shots I have been wanting to take. I may have to stretch a bit to make this one fit the theme of the week. But there is a drop of water there so I am counting that as a water themed photo. :D

I have been a bad bad blogger the past few days. It is so hard for me to catch a minute for the computer on the weekends when everybody is home. Not to mention that most of the weekend my connection was just poopy due to the weather and the fact that we have satellite(sattelite, sattellite??) internet.
I am heading out this afternoon to get pictures arooooouuuund town. Since the weather kept me from going out and about yesterday tomorrow you all will get to see what my town looks like in the winter, for now you will have to settle for some pictures of the beach from this fall. :)

Not sure about the settings... I think I may have had the camera on auto*gasp* OH THE HORROR! hehe The bw picture I converted but I am not sure what I did to it now... I really should write these things down. The color photo has had the unsharp mask done but other than that is untouched. :) Thanks for looking and CC always welcome.

A big part of being me is being a Mum to three pretty terrific kids. Yesterday I played nurse to one sicky chicky, and well what good Mum doesn't stop to take a few pictures of their kids while they are sick. Ha!
This is Lilia gymnast extraordinaire, cutie patootie, all around good kid and my youngest and only girl.
LOVE this photo, but I may be a bit biased. :D I did a little photoshopping to this picture with levels to brighten it up a bit( it was a little underexposed) and then I put an optikverve filter(LOVE them) on it to create the black and white.
CC always welcome and THANKS for looking.

Everyone that knows us knows that you can't know me without knowing Paul, my hubby. We have been together since I was 14 and he was 16(18 years!!) and have been married for 11 years. So meet Paul my totally awesome, wickedly supportive, all around good guy husband.
Oh and I have a thing for hands(not THAT kind of thing, mostly ;) ), especially mens hands. :D
CC welcome, Thanks everyone, for looking.

So you all get to know me a bit better I thought I would post something completely random that makes me SOOooo happy. Buttons... I swear I could have an entire room full of buttons and still want more. All the colors, shapes, textures.. I can create an entire layout around some buttons that I think look cool together. And don't even get me started on my love of sorting and re-sorting :D
Oh and CC even a little HHCC always welcome.

Ok...here goes.......... posting a picture of little(well if truth me told not so little but you know what I mean :) ) ol' me.
This is a picture from last year but I haven't been able to get any good pics today because the weather is C.R.A.P.P.Y. and there is not enough light anywhere. :( Suffice it to say I haven't really changed in looks all that much from last year to this year... heck my hair is even the same.
Someday soon I promise to step out from behind the camera and get some pictures of my entire face but for now half a face and the permanent Olympus growth that is attached to it will have to do. hehe!

This is my oldest son doing what he does best... being a LUMP. I can only get pictures of him when he is preoccupied otherwise he runs from me. LOL
I ran the picture through noiseware(because my camera has really bad noise at higher ISOs) and converted it to black and white with an optikverve filter.

I went outside in search of something cool... something awe inspiring... something that would capture the imagination, I found this(note the lack of enthusiasm in my voice). LOL
Sidenote, see that green green grass? Yeah it's Jan. in MAINE and we still have green grass, at least it makes for a much nicer backdrop then dead grass. :D
CC always welcome!

Big HUGE Thanks to Sheri!

Sheri you recommended Noiseware's free software so I went and downloaded it and DUUuuuuude it is great! So big humongous gigantous thank yous to you for sending that sweet little tip my way.

Liz

Oh and I reserve "Duuuude" for those truly magnificent moments in life. LOL

I couldn't pick just one for today but hey at least I got out the camera and played!
Series of pictures is titled Homework time... I wanted to document how my youngest son and daughter get right down to business when it comes time to get the homework done.
I would love to know where to get a program or plug in to reduce noise as my camera has tons in the higher ISOs, any suggestions are greatly appreciated as is any CC.

YAY! I did it... and I feel stupid because that was way too easy. Here I was thinking I was going to have to input HTML code and stuff...NOPE just click the little button and browse my pics.
This is my 10 1/2 year old black lab, Chloe. She is so hard to get good pictures of so any suggestions on how to go about that would be greatly appreciated. :)
